Swiss musician Aïsha Devi works at the gateway of the unconscious. Her electronic compositions do not adhere to any traditional pop song grammar. For her it is rather more about affective simulations, the activation of physical potential and the releasing of energy flows. Aïsha Devi consciously takes up a neo-spiritualist perspective, which cuts transversally through the border area between art music and techno, where it also produces new openings for quasi-holistic club enlightenments. As part of 100 jahre bauhaus. Das Eröffnungsfestival and Aïsha Devi present “Light Luxury”, a collaboration with Chinese performing artist Tianzhuo Chen, who has made a valuable contribution in recent years as the enfant terrible of the Chinese art scene.  His atmospheric video pieces fuse religious imagery traditions with the exuberant eccentrics of a globalized Internet pop culture and expand Aïsha Devi’s concert with a visual dimension. Inspired by the aesthetics of the early Bauhaus parties, Chen will also build a light sculpture, which will be presented for the first time as part of this audio-visual concert performance.
